The stork has delivered two bundles to Evesham Dental Health Team members recently. Our dentist Aleksandra and her husband welcomed their gorgeous baby boy Rafal into the world in March. And our care co-ordinator Melanie and husband’s adorable baby daughter Matilda Rose (or Tilly) was born on April 29th.
Both families are doing brilliantly – as the photos show. It’s been great to see Melanie and Aleksandra looking so happy and well, and for us to have chance to cuddle the new babies.
Melanie said: “Tilly is an absolute angel, very lazy indeed but we are all besotted with her. Our elder daughter is in her element and we are incredibly proud of the way she has embraced her role as big sister.”
What better time than the arrival of these beautiful babies for us to remind our patients from Evesham, Pershore, Stratford, Bidford and the surrounding villages about the importance of bringing your baby to the dentist before they get their first teeth.
This allows us to provide good advice to parents, create the habit of regular enjoyable visits and promote good dental health.
Children are born with perfect teeth and it’s our job as parents to make sure they keep them this way forever. There should be no need for any fillings in their lifetime as long as you remember to visit us for regular dental health reviews, consider preventive treatments such as fluoride varnish and listen to the dental health guidance from your dedicated dental team.
A worrying number of new patients (irregular attenders) contact us for their own dental needs and we learn that it hasn’t crossed their minds to take their 4 or 5-year-old child to a dentist yet because they haven’t had any apparent problems. We find this quite alarming.
Regular visits allow us to spot any potential issues before they become a painful or problematic. Many people are nervous patients and this can lead to them neglecting their teeth in later life. Give your child the best start possible by looking after their teeth from birth and introducing them to excellent dental care from a welcoming team!
If you would like to contact us for more information about our early years dentistry, please give our friendly team a ring. We look forward to hearing from you and looking after your family.
