Richard was approached to write an arictle for Private Dentistry to promote the importance of dental teams detecting early signs of mouth cancer. Doing so makes a profound difference to the patients that may be affected and could save a life. Finding mouth cancer in it’s early stages is key to survival.
Most experts advise that all patients aged 18 and older receive a comprehensive oral cancer screening at least once a year. Here at EDHT we routinely carry out free mouth cancer screening’s at every new patient assessment and every adult dental examination on a six monthly basis.
