Are you anxious about visiting the dentist?
Do you put off visiting the dentist because you are worried or simply hate the
whole process?
Is there a particular aspect of a dental appointment that really worries you?
You’re not alone, and Evesham Dental Health Team would like to help.
Many people who are very anxious avoid dentists at all costs and this is something the team at our genuinely friendly dental practice in Broadway Road is to trying to overcome.
Neglecting your teeth can lead to poor dental health and this is linked to heart disease, bacterial lung infections, premature births, diabetes and strokes. Regular visits are vital to maintaining good general health and wellbeing.
Please don’t neglect your dental wellbeing because of severe anxiety – speak to us, we can help.
We offer our nervous patients from across Worcestershire, Warwickshire and Gloucestershire Nucalm, oral and intravenous sedation (IV sedation) which make you feel pleasantly relaxed and calm throughout a treatment.
You will feel the treatment has only taken a matter of minutes when it may have taken hours. This allows complex dental treatment, which may normally take several visits, to be completed in fewer and sometimes a single appointment.
Oral sedation involves taking tablet medication, while intravenous sedation involves having an injection in the arm. The intravenous method is the more predictable, more powerful and the quickest acting of the two.
Richard Colebourne is Dental Phobia Certified dentist and both he and Aleksandra Rozwadowska are trained in sedation techniques, so you are in safe hands. We have also created a special leaflet to explain about our sedation therapy – please click here to read more.
