Dental phobia is the main reason people put off seeking dental treatment and this means many nervous patients live with discomfort, pain and treatable conditions that can lead to tooth loss and can have a detrimental effect to their overall health. It doesn’t have to be this way!
Our dental team understands that some patients are nervous about visiting the dentist. Fear of the dentist can be caused by unpleasant experiences in the past, the sounds and smells of the dental surgery, or a phobia of needles and feelings of being out of control.
If you haven’t visited the dentist in a while, please don’t be embarrassed about the state of your teeth. Our dentists’ job is to look after your dental health not tell you off! Whatever the reason for your dental anxiety, we will take it very seriously and talk to you in depth about your concerns. We also offer sedation.
