Evesham Dental Health Team on Broadway Road is a preventive dental practice, which means we work hard to prevent dental problems rather than just treating.
It is lovely when we receive glowing testimonials from our patients – and we are proud to say that we now have 4.9 stars from 91 reviews on Google. The most recent Google review was posted just three weeks ago and the very first one we received was more than eight years ago – that’s a long time to achieve such consistently high results!
We believe that hygiene therapy is one of the most important services we provide. So, we were delighted when two of our recent reviews praised the work of our hygiene team.
Patient Angela Dymoke gave us 5 stars on Google, saying: “I am hugely impressed by and appreciate the work of hygienist Katharine. She is by far the best hygienist I have ever had…..hugely professional, extremely experienced and always warm, supportive, encouraging and kind with a great eye for detail and wanting to help you achieve the very best for your teeth (whatever your age or state of teeth!!) Hugely recommended.”
Thank you for your wonderful comments Angela. We have a great team of dental health professionals and it’s lovely that Katharine’s good work has been recognised.
Kay Haslam also gave us 5 stars on Google. Kay said: “A wonderful dental practice. Extremely professional and always so polite. Way above average tooth hygiene practiced. I was a nervous patient when I joined 5 years ago but all the team have been so patient and kind that I feel far easier now about a ‘Visit to the Dentist’.”
Maintaining your dental wellbeing is vital and your hygiene examination forms an essential part of your healthy living regime, so please don’t be tempted to put it off.
Your mouth deserves to receive professional care and it’s also important to emphasise that hygiene therapy may also reduce the risk of developing several serious medical conditions, especially as research links gum disease to arthritis, heart disease, strokes, diabetes, premature births and even dementia. A staggering 90 per cent of us suffer from gum disease in our lives but with good dental care the risks can be easily controlled.
Common symptoms of gum disease include:
- Bleeding gums
- Loose teeth
- Gum recession (longer teeth). This often results in increased tooth sensitivity.
- Bad tastes
- Bad breath
- Drifting teeth
The expertise of our hygienists and hygiene therapists is in promoting oral health and giving you the skills and the confidence to make a real difference to the health of your mouth. The care that they provide forms a central part of how our practice aims to keep you healthy through our preventive approach.
It helps patients enjoy a comfortable and healthy mouth, which will significantly reduce the need for dental treatment in the long term. Periodontal (gum) therapy not only treats existing disease but also prevents future disease.
