On Wednesday 25th March all dental practices were informed by the Chief Dental Officer to temporarily close to prevent the spread of coronavirus. We can now provide advice and when appropriate prescriptions, but are no longer allowed to see any patients.
A process is in place to set up a Local Urgent Dental Care Service once full PPE is available to protect both patients and the clinical team. Hopefully it won’t be long until this special measure is available and safe to use.
In the meantime during office hours if any of our membership and registered patients need dental advice, please telephone and leave a message on Richard’s mobile 07717441712. Richard will return your call as soon as possible and when appropriate can coordinate a video consultation via Facetime or Zoom. In the evenings and at weekends emergency dental advice is available by telephoning the on-call dentist answer machine 01905 570122 or contacting NHS 111.
Like everyone, we hope the coronavirus pandemic is quickly resolved and that our normal service can be resumed again soon. Richard and the Team are devastated to have to be closed, but we know it is essential to keep our community safe. We are grateful for your continued membership of the practice and your loyalty to us. The team are communicating with each other each day via WhatsApp and a Zoom conference call. Richard and Lorna are so grateful that our amazing team are ready to offer extra clinics when we reopen so that our loyal patients can swiftly get back on track with their dental care.
