We are excited to announce that Evesham Dental Health Team on Broadway Road is now equipped with a 3D dental CBCT scanner. This amazing new piece of technology makes implant treatment safer and quicker for our patients. Many dental practices do not have this technology, and previously our patients had to travel to Birmingham for 3D scans.
Our Evesham dentists are proud to have introduced this advanced technology that allows us to provide a higher standard in implant, orthodontic and anti-snoring treatment.
The main benefit of using a CBCT scanner is improving patient safety. We can see with pinpoint accuracy exactly what we want to be doing and what we need to avoid before we start any treatment. We can offer everything our patients from across Worcestershire, Warwickshire and Gloucestershire require at our own dental practice in Evesham, rather than having to send them to a specialist scanning centre elsewhere.
We believe CBCT scans are essential for the accurate placement of some dental implants. Modern CBCT machines deliver a very low dose of radiation and measure the depth, width and density of the jaw bone, and more importantly the whereabouts of vital structures, like nerve canals and sinus cavities, in a 3D view.
