With Valentine’s Day this month, now is the time we turn our attentions to love. With this in mind, our Evesham dentists have been asking their friends, colleagues and patients from our town and the surrounding areas of Cheltenham, Pershore, Worcester, Bidford, Alcester and Stratford “do you love your smile?”.
This has been a tricky question for some. What makes a beautiful smile? Is it inner confidence regardless of the condition of a person’s teeth? Is it good dental health? Or is it a gleaming white Hollywood smile?
As far as the Evesham Dental Health Team is concerned, if you feel happy to smile and you aren’t in pain, then that’s what counts. The burning question is, if you don’t feel confident enough to smile, then what can we do to help?
Enjoy a comfortable mouth
Anyone who has experienced dental pain – from debilitating toothache to ongoing long-term dental discomfort – will tell you that it’s difficult to smile in those circumstances. We can definitely help!
Emergency care
Whenever possible our dental practice on Broadway Road provides emergency care on the same day. Please contact us early in the day so we can offer you one of our special set-aside times.
Out of ours our patients can contact the ‘on call’ local dentist rota for dental emergency advice or treatment. Evesham Dental Health Team is part of a group of local private dentists who share responsibility for out-of-hours emergency care. Please telephone 07699 707425.
This pager service is available weekdays 5.30pm – 9.30pm and weekends and Bank Holidays from 9am – 9.30pm. There is a call out fee of £95 plus the cost of any treatment. If you have joined the EDHT Practice Membership Plan you will be able to claim most of these fees back.
Health and hygiene
It is well documented that the health of your mouth is a good indication of your general wellbeing. Lots of research has found links between gum disease and serious medical conditions such as diabetes, strokes and heart disease. There are also new studies looking at possible links between gum disease and dementia.
If your gums could do with some extra help, the very best thing to do is contact our hygiene team for a thorough gum or periodontal care sessions.
Smile with confidence
If you wish for a gleaming white smile, then we have a host of cosmetic treatments available!
