Evesham Dental Health Team would like to say a huge thank you to all our loyal patients and fabulously supportive team as it is 20 years since we opened the doors to our Broadway Road dental practice.
We marked the 20th birthday of our practice with a gathering in the practice garden after work on Saturday August 8th.
Unfortunately, our planned team trip to the Edinburgh Festival was cancelled due to the pandemic but it was great to celebrate with a glass of bubbly and slice of delicious blueberry and lemon cake baked by our dental therapist, Katharine.
We have had some lovely cards and messages of support, including a card from Stuart “Congratulations and best wishes for the future! It was good seeing you on Sunday. I was very impressed with the new dental health procedures inspiring both confidence and reassurance. The surgery looks light and bright; you’ve all worked extremely hard during the lockdown, thank you!”
On Facebook. Janet wrote “Congratulations. You are a shining example of exemplary care,” and from Karen “Congratulations we think you guys are fab-u-lous, thank you xx,”
Since lockdown we have been inundated with new patient requests. These have come from people who have recently moved, or because their dentist just hasn’t got going in quite the same way since the restrictions have been eased, or from people who’ve realised they need to ‘belong’ to a practice to be looked after. We also seem to have entered a period when many people are looking to improve themselves, perhaps as a treat following COVID lockdown. Many patients are now proceeding with whitening, CEREC onlays, veneers and crowns.
Back in 2000, Richard, Lorna and new born son Oliver established Evesham Dental Health Team. With the support of a private practice in Cheltenham where Richard and his nurse Sharon worked, Richard branched out, working part-time in Evesham and Cheltenham.
As the Evesham practice successfully grew, mainly by patients recommending their family, friends and colleagues – the team, facilities and opening hours all increased to help us blossom into the established, highly regarded practice we are today.
